Privacy Policy

Terius is a non-custodial wallet. You do not need an account, a name, an email address, or an identity check to use it. Your private keys, your seed phrase, and your funds stay on your device. We never receive them.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We collect a small amount of technical data, described below, so the service can run and so we can meet the record-keeping terms of the providers you choose to use.

1. Who we are

Terius LLC, a company registered in Georgia (country), identification number 406490177, registered address 5 Police Lane I, Floor 2, N4a, Samgori district, Tbilisi, Georgia, is the controller for the processing described below. Contact: support@terius.com.

2. What we do not collect

Using the Wallet does not require an account with us. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or identity document.

We do not collect, and we cannot see:

  • your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet password;
  • your digital assets or balances;
  • identity files from a KYC or AML check;
  • advertising identifiers.

3. What we collect

We collect as little as we can. What we collect depends on the feature you use.

Technical data

  • IP address, from which an approximate location can be derived.
  • Browser type, browser language, operating system, app version, and device model.
  • A technical device fingerprint.

Exchange records

  • The order or transaction ID issued by the provider.
  • The asset pair and the amounts.
  • The wallet addresses used in that exchange.
  • The technical data above, stored with that record.

Address checks

  • The address you asked us to check, the date, and the result.
  • A link to the AML account identifier described in Section 4.
  • The address is sent to the screening provider that runs the check.

We use this data to run the Wallet and the Site, to keep your exchange history, to show you your own check history, to limit abuse, and to carry out sanctions screening and the record-keeping our providers require. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not tie it to your real name.

We keep it for at least 12 months, because the exchange providers require that period. After that we delete it or anonymize it, unless security or the law requires a longer period.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and securing the service, and in performing our contracts with the providers we integrate.

Your keys and your seed phrase never leave your device. We protect the limited data we do hold with organizational and technical measures. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

4. Cookies and identifiers

We use a few first-party cookies. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

Strictly necessary

  • A technical cookie or local storage may remember your language or theme, or support basic security.
  • These do not need prior consent.

AML account identifier

  • The first time you use address screening, and only with your consent, we issue an internal identifier. It lets us recognize that screening account and show you its history and status.
  • It works like an account handle. It is not a cookie, it is not used for advertising, and it is not shared with third parties. It is stored on our side, not on your device.
  • We keep it while the screening account is active. You can ask us to delete it, and the history linked to it, at support@terius.com. We may also delete it after a long period of inactivity.
  • Clearing the browser or the app does not delete it, because it is not stored on your device.

5. Third-party providers

The providers below are independent of Terius. This Policy does not cover what they do with information under their own rules. The same list, with the date, is in the Terms of Use.

Any exchange provider may require you to verify your identity under its own terms. Terius does not request, receive, or store your identity documents. Information you give a provider is held by that provider.

Prices and charts are provided by CoinGecko. We do not send CoinGecko your keys, your seed phrase, or your name.

6. Donations

If you choose to make a voluntary donation: cryptocurrency donations are sent directly to our wallet address and require no personal information; fiat donations, if available, are processed by a third-party payment provider under its own privacy policy, and we receive only the donation amount and, where applicable, a confirmation reference.

7. App stores

If you download the App via the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores independently collect information under their own privacy policies. We do not receive or control that information. Our store data declarations reflect the collection described in this policy.

8. If you contact us

If you email us for support, we process the information you choose to provide (such as your email address and message) solely to respond. We do not use it for marketing.

9. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only in these cases:

  • with hosting and infrastructure providers that process it for us;
  • with an integrated provider, where its partner terms require it;
  • with a competent authority, in response to a valid legal request;
  • where it is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

10. International transfers

Our infrastructure and service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.

11. Your rights

Where the law gives you these rights, including the EU and UK GDPR and the Georgian Law on Personal Data Protection, you can ask us to:

  • give you access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • restrict how we use it, or object to that use.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Georgia, that authority is the Personal Data Protection Service.

We usually cannot match the data we hold to your real name. We may need more information from you before we can find the records that relate to your request.

12. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly process their data.
