Risk Disclosure
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Using cryptocurrency and non-custodial software carries significant risk. By using Terius you acknowledge and accept the following. This is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
1. Self-custody / total responsibility
You alone hold your seed phrase and private keys. We cannot recover them or your funds. Lose them and your assets are permanently and irrecoverably lost. There is no reset and no support recovery.
2. Irreversibility
Blockchain transactions are final. Sending to a wrong or fraudulent address, on the wrong network, or in the wrong amount cannot be undone or refunded.
3. Volatility and total loss
Digital-asset prices are highly volatile and can fall to zero. You may lose some or all of your value.
4. Security threats
Phishing, fake support, malware, clipboard hijacking, and social engineering target crypto users. We will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys, or password. Never share them with anyone.
5. Technology risk
Blockchains, smart contracts, bridges, and protocols may contain bugs, be exploited, be delayed, congest, fork, or fail. These are outside our control.
6. Third-party services
Exchange, swap, on/off-ramp, screening, and other third-party services are provided by independent companies under their own terms and carry their own risks; we do not control or guarantee them.
7. Third-party verification (KYC)
Exchange and on/off-ramp providers may, under their own compliance procedures, delay or hold a transaction and request identity verification directly from you. This process is conducted solely by the provider and its support team; Terius does not request, receive, or store your identity documents and cannot influence the provider's decision.
8. Regulatory risk
Laws affecting digital assets vary and change and may restrict your ability to use the Services.
9. No insurance / no guarantee
Your assets are not bank deposits and are not covered by any deposit-guarantee, investor-compensation, or insurance scheme.
You are strongly encouraged to assess whether using digital assets suits your circumstances and risk tolerance. We accept no liability for losses arising from these risks; see the Terms of Use.
